I started the channel in 2013 under my email address as a name and got 2 views I think. Fast forward to 2024, I changed the name and the format. Now I will upload new material regularly when I’m back home from work and get the chance to do some filming. The videos will reference this blog as I aim to grow it with new projects.
I am trying to avoid having a niche channel just on amateur radio. There just isn’t enough viewers that will be interested in visiting. The problem is there are now loads of radio amateur channels from the UK, USA, Canada and Australia to name a few and they all have the same reviews of the same radios and have roughly the same format. There are noticeable exceptions with some very slick video content. With the availability of equipment due to mass production and popularity, good quality videos can be made for the fraction of the cost of using expensive, broadcast quality equipment.
